Tow Veterinary Services opened in May of 2024 by Dr. Frances Bowling. We are your small-town country vet, providing services to Tow and surrounding towns in the Texas Hill Country for cats, dogs, horses.
About Us
Frances Bowling, DVM
Dr. Bowling grew up in Gallup, New Mexico. She completed her undergraduate pre-veterinary studies at New Mexico State University and received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M in 2003.
Following her graduation, she practiced at Katy Equine Clinic in Katy, Texas, followed by Highland Lakes Veterinary Clinic in Marble Falls. In 2007, she moved back to New Mexico and practiced at Jornada Veterinary Clinic in Las Cruces, New Mexico. She moved back to Texas to be near family and run Scott's Landing on Lake Buchanan, and practiced at Horseshoe Bay Veterinary Clinic.

We are a small community practice with our main focus on dogs, cats and horses. We provide preventative services, general surgery and dental care. We offer house calls and farm calls and provide in home euthanasia services. We are open 3 days a week, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 7AM to 7PM.
